It’s ok. Take your time, there is no rush.

Posted on December 22, 2020November 29, 2023 by thepsychpod

Shout out to all the healers that are working overtime during these trying times. Thank you for caring, thank you for listening, thank you for giving hope, thank you for saving lives. Remember that these times are difficult for everyone, including you.

Remember that it is ok to not be ok. It is ok to take time off. It is ok to sign off, it is ok to turn off notifications and silence your phone. It is ok to wait if you are not ready. It is ok, everything is still going to be there when you get back. Remember to always take care of yourself first.

Sometimes you have to hit pause before you can continue. Life is constantly evolving; the only constant we have in this life is change. You must learn to adapt to survive and live life to the fullest. In order to do this, you must remember to always keep moving forward. Never stay in a situation or mindset that is not helping you grow and evolve into a better version of yourself mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

It’s ok. Take your time, there is no rush.

Dr. Velmi, Psy.D.
